Our Fourth Initiative

Our fourth initiative was to reconsider our printing inks. We have used water-based ink for many years, a superior choice regarding emissions and hazardous waste, compared to traditional solvent-based ink. When we engaged with our ink supplier, we found they were working on a new water-based ink that replaces petrochemically-based raw materials, to the greatest degree possible, with renewable biobased ones. We will be transitioning to this new ink system, which has a superior raw material story to match its positive emissions story.
